COURTESY ON THE COURSE
Consideration for other players.
No player should play until the players in front are out of range.
In the interests of all, players should play without delay.
Players searching for a ball should signal the players behind them to pass through as soon as it becomes apparent that the ball will not be easily found - they should not search for five minutes before doing so. They should not continue to play until the players following them have passed and are out of range.
When the play of a hole has been completed, players should immediately leave the putting green.
COMPETITION START TIMES
Members entering any competitions must not tee-off before 8.00am. All names must be entered in the Competition sign-in book and the entry fee paid in the Pro shop beforehand.
ENTRY FEES
All competition entry fees must be paid in advance. Under no circumstances will any refunds be issued.
HANDICAPS
(The attention of all members is drawn to the Standard Scratch Score and appropriate handicapping schemes.)
It should be noted that all score cards are to be returned including NO RETURNS.
New members and those whose handicaps have been suspended must return three scores for handicap, two of which must be under Medal play conditions.
KNOCKOUT COMPETITIONS
It is the duty of both players to arrange a mutual date within the specified period.
PRESIDENT'S PUTTER
The President's Putter is a very prestigious trophy, being won by the best of four aggregate scores from the following five competitions:-
1st Round Otley Salver
Hudson & Owbridge
King Cup
Victory Cup
Captain's Prize
RESTRICTIONS
Juniors with a handicap of 18 or over, are not allowed to play before 9.45 am on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays, unless otherwise authorised.
SLOW PLAY
The committee is disturbed by the excessive time taken to complete competition rounds. Every player is asked to be considerate to his fellow competitors by ensuring that his play is conducted at a reasonable pace.
TEE RESERVATIONS - TIME SHEETS
If you are unable to make use of your booking, please cancel it as soon as possible, thus making that time available once more.
