
Dress Requirement
A high standard of dress on the course, in and around the clubhouse, is expected at all times.
On the 18 Hole Course
Tailor-made shorts no lower than the knee with knee-length or sports socks, preferably white. Sports shirts must have collars. Trousers/slacks must not be tucked into socks. Shirts must be tucked into trousers or shorts.
Clubhouse
Tailor-made shorts with socks, as above and appropriate footwear, are permitted in the clubhouse at any time with the exception of the presentation evenings (see below).
Clothing Not Permitted.
Denim jeans and trainers are not allowed in the lounge and restaurant (James Braid bar) at any time nor on the course. They are however allowed in the Casual bar (Snooker room). The clothes worn must be of smart appearance. Track or shell suits (full or bottoms only) T-shirts with no collar or sleeves
On competition presentation evenings, the considered appropriate dress wear is collar and tie, however, this may vary at the discretion of the Captain.
It is the responsibility of Club Members to make sure that signed-in guests and golfing players in his or her company are properly attired in accordance with club rules.
Members are reminded that when guests are signed in for a round of golf, it must be done in accordance with club rules, and the guest must play with the member.
Mobile Phones.
The use of mobile phones is not allowed either on the course or in the clubhouse, except in the case of a genuine emergency.
