Course Newsletter
The Committtee wish to express their grateful thanks to our Head Greenkeeper, Andy Flemmings, for the production of a course newsletter. Andy hopes to produce these on a quarterly basis and would welcome any comments, snippets of information or anything you would like to see in future publications. These may be handed in to any member of the greens' staff.
(You will need Adobe Reader to view the newsletter - click the link below to download.)
Beck Cup
Congratulations to Junior members, Daniel Barnes and Jonathon Pickard on winning this alternate shot event. The winners would normally go through to the Daily Mail foursomes in 2009, but due to the entry criteria for the event being 18 years of age, they cannot represent Filey. However, they will have their names put on the honours' board in the club. J Kempson and S Robson will go on to represent Filey in the Daily Mail foursomes.
Scarborough Evening News Golf Section
Many of our eagle-eyed members will have spotted that the Scarborough Evening News has a new Golf correspondent - Filey member Mick Atkinson. So, if you have any newsworthy items, do pass them on to Mick.
